Bart has a great love and passion for Traditional Country Music. Country music greats such as Merle Haggard, Gene Watson, George Jones and Keith Whitley are major influences that have shaped Bart's country vocal style. While constantly striving to improve himself, he has also realized his growing passion and talent for song-writing as well.

Over his music career, Bart has had the great pleasure of performing and sharing the stage with othe recording artists such as: Kenny Chesney, The Dixie Chicks, Neal McCoy, Roger Creager, Gary Allan, Steve Holy, Yankee Gray, Mark Wills, Charlie Robison, Kelly Schoppa, Randy Corner, Carl Manchaca, Fiddlin' Frencie Burke, Gene Watson, The John Evans band and Perfect Stranger to name a few. Thanks to continued support from radio stations across Texas, Bart's music has been heard over the airwaves, preserving realy country music with the awesome growth of Texas Country Music and The Texa Music Chart.
Bart recorded his first CD, "Reckless Hearts" at the legends Studio in Nashville, TN for Houston-based PVI RECORDS. A special thanks goes out to Jim Hassel who was the main financial backer of this great album. Bart's 2nd release to major-market radio, "Tapestry of Heartaches", written by Joe Diffie & Lonnie Wilson, was very well received by the Country Music Radio industry, charting a first top 20 Hit for Bart in March of 2000.
At the end of 2000 Bart released his first self-penned song, "Blue Green Eyes", and thanks to Leslie T. Travis, the "Texas Music Revolution Show", and Texas listeners everywhere he had another radio hit on his hands.
Currently Bart focuses on his lovely family and his love for songwriting in Columbus, TX.
