Julia Lucille

At the age of twenty-nine, singer/songwriter, Julia Lucille has established a disposition and sense of self-awareness that has become a rarity in the oft subconsciously self-absorbed music industry. Moving from the sleepy California town she grew up in, Lucille ventured to the over-stimulating Portland, Oregon for college, then to the completely contrasting isolated Moon Phase Ranch in Dripping Springs, where she found it easy to focus her energy on music and personal healing. Here she worked with Cross Record at Dandy Sounds to record an album, and also began her deeply personal and stripped down project ‘Bedroom Tapes.’

Julia now resides in Austin, TX, where has become submerged in the booming, and frequently competitive art community. Here she has spent four years delving even further into her music progression and gaining the respect of her peers, being a part of festivals like SXSW, and sharing bills with the likes of Mitski and Jillian Rae.

Staying still has never been her forte, and she is now dedicating her next phase to being on the road as much as possible, entrancing one group of people at a time. With the sense that you never know when she will slip back into isolation, you want to catch Lucille while you can. Regardless of what your intentions are in the beginning of her set, you will undoubtedly end up contented and floating in the sea of her delicate, introspective sound.

EMILY COLE

Emily Cole is an up and coming singer/songwriter from Montgomery, TX.  She began her musical journey when she was 12 years old and continues to grow as an artist with the help of mentors and industry professionals (a few being Aspire Music, RLRM, WalkOne Productions, Theresa Yow, Chris Chimene, and Jake McKim).  Emily and her team, Chris Chimene (co-write), Eddie Ferguson (WalkOne Productions), Theresa Yow (vocal coach), worked many hours together, and Emily released her debut album October, 2015. You can find her album on iTunes, Google Play, etc.  She continues to write, with an ep in mind for the near future.  This ep will consist of songs she is co-writing with other artists, as well as with her brother, who is also involved in the music industry as an engineer.  Emily is excited to have traveled to New York in June, 2016, to work with Producers/Writers, The Elev3en and Jeremy "Kinetics" Dussolliet.  Their song “Over” can be heard on her Reverbnation page.  We'd love to give a shout out to Jake McKim and Amp U for making this possible for Emily!  Emily also donates her time performing at benefits that help raise money for cancer victims and their families, as well as other benefits/charities, helping raise money for those less fortunate.  Two such recent events are: Amazing Grace Golf Classic and Annual Q'ing To Cure Childhood Cancer BBQ Cook-Off.  An upcoming benefit is Houston Via Colori and it is scheduled for November, 2016. All proceeds from Houston Via Colori benefit The Center for Hearing and Speech, a local non-profit that serves children with hearing loss.   While Emily performs most of her shows as a solo artist, she has been quite busy playing shows as a duo, and she also brings along her band, when called for.  Though Emily recently turned 16, she is blessed to get the opportunity to perform every week.  She would love for you to come out to a live performance!  To find out when and where, visit her at

Glen Tate and Taz Mobile Indian Food

Glen Tate is a singer/songwriter currently based out of Bryan, Texas who specializes in composing catchy acoustic pop songs about the profound impact of everyday love and loss. His songs feature a clear writing style which describe complex and confusing emotions in a relatable and easily understandable way, set to a powerful and percussive acoustic playing style, and a traditionally trained vocal range, which is more expanded than is usual for the acoustic pop genre.

Glen has fronted various regionally popular touring power-pop and hard rock bands such as Shortbus Superheroes, We Are The Murder, and Anything Twice. With a backround in music education, he has also gladly hosted multiple open mics in the Brazos Valley, doing his best to foster and mentor young local talent.

Mystery Love Company

Mystery Love Company

Mystery Loves Company is the result of an informal collaboration session between Carlos A. Machado and Madeline Herdeman.  The two met while performing an open mic at the legendary Mucky Duck in Houston, Texas.  Carlos, a self-taught guitarist and songwriter, had been touring the local open mic circuit for a few months after being encouraged by a friend to try out his songs in front of an audience.  Madeline, a conservatory-trained cellist, was in search of another performance outlet in which she could put to use her years of training and love for singing, when she decided to arrange and perform some pop tunes, also at the encouragement of a friend.

A couple of weeks after that initial meeting they performed "Make it Stay", "Stay Awake", and "Worlds Collide" at JP Hops House, and the following night at the Mucky Duck, and it was obvious then that the resulting sound could be something special.  A number of Musicians have been a part of the Mystery Loves Company line-up since.  Most notably, Alauna Rubin (clarinet), Jeremy Dudman (bass), and Danny Patterson (drums) have been major contributors in studio recordings, songwriting, and live performances.

Mystery Loves Company tours regularly in Texas and yearly around the Midwest, and plans are always underway for new venues and locations.  Maddy and Carlos have also kept a rigorous writing and recording schedule since MLC's inception.

The High Moons and Blake's Steaks Food Truck

In 2014 two sisters out of Dallas were invited to do an open mic in Deep Ellum. The unique tightness and harmonies of the two captured the audience instantly. Jordan Henderson (lead vocals & lyricist) & Hannah Henderson (lead guitar/lead vocals/ keys/bass) realized they were in the beginning stages of something magical. They took on the name “The High Moons” and quickly saturated the area. Fast-forward a year to when an incredible pianist /vocalist, Lydia Wells, joined the duo and the trio began writing and creating beautiful gypsy like music. Adding this vital piece of sound only furthered their reach and fan base. Feeling grateful but still incomplete the trio recently became a full five piece with addition of Bekah Naomi Clinton, cellist/vocals/keys/bass and Marla Hegman on the drums.  The full five piece has changed the scene by being a group of dynamic and multi talented female artists. From playing local festivals to private events to air time locally, The High Moons are being called “a group to keep your eyes on” and have “enchanting melodies and angelic harmonies”. Their swanky originals and interesting renditions of well-known songs show that these women will make magic out of any chord progression and note.

Blake's Steaks Food Truck will be serving their famous Philly cheese steaks at 6pm

Chase Gassaway and The Big E-Z food Truck

At only 29 years old, singer-songwriter Chase Gassaway has more musical experience than most artists twice his age. And he’s putting it to good use with the release of his second solo album, Certain Circles, his first full-length record in nearly a decade.

A lifelong Texan, Gassaway studied music composition and theory in college, honing his skills as a composer by creating works for a wide range of ensembles from choirs to full orchestras, as well as composing the score to short film Take Two. He has also been trained in classical guitar and voice, and plays a variety of instruments from banjolele to reed organ. His training, and the onstage lessons he’s learned as a solo performer and member of groups such as Canaries in the Coal Mine and formally the Matchmaker Band, has resulted in multi-textured pop songs that recall the Head & the Heart and Ben Folds. In a Chase Gassaway song, it’s not unusual to hear strings, horns, woodwinds and piano accompanying Gassaway’s engaging lyrics and slightly husky vocals, which might remind listeners of Jakob Dylan’s.

The Big E-Z will be ready to serve at 6pm

Instead of pigeonholing his music into Americana, folk or alternative categories, Gassaway prefers to pursue diversity and eclecticism. “I’ve written full symphonic works, choral pieces, chamber music and folk songs, and they’re all the same for me,” he explains. “I like to think of my style as ‘honest.’”

All orders ship out of the brewery within 1 week. Stock subject to change  based on shirts sold during Taproom hours.
