Year Round Beers:
Dammit Jim! - Hoppy Amber
This beer started out as a lark and a whim and turned out way too tasty. With a primarily German malt bill, Dammit Jim! is hopped like an American Pale Ale resulting in a refreshing blend of malt and tropical hop flavor and aroma not typically found in ambers. This hoppy amber ale tastes like sweet malt and toasted bread with a crisp bitterness highlighting four hop varieties.
Skylight - Dunkelweizen
As you sip Skylight Dunkelweizen, you may pick up a hint of clove, some grainy sweetness and prominent banana smell while wisps of vanilla swirl around your tongue. Mild and effortlessly drinkable, the Dunkelweizen is the Hefeweizen's more intriguing sister. Skylight appeals to fans of wheat beers and bocks. Although it is a wheat beer, Skylight should not be served with an orange, but like all of our beers, with good company.
Kadigan - Complicated Blonde
Kadigan (nee Anthem) is not your ordinary blonde. It’s bright, crisp and clean with a firm backbone of hops to keep you coming back for more. 2-row and Golden Promise provide a nice biscuit malt profile while Hallertau, Magnum and Saaz hops lend a hint of lemon and bitterness.
Whipsaw - Third Coast Double IPA
Our fourth year-round brew, released at our three-year anniversary in May 2014. Plenty of American hop badassery and a mix of sweet, caramely malts to balance the 84 IBUs. Spicy rye and bready Munich lend a fantastic compliment to Whipsaw’s dank citrus bitterness.
Warimono - Belgian Tripel
Belgian tripels are one of Dean's favorite beers. How lucky for him when our Kickstarter supporters chose that style for our summer seasonal. Spicy, subtly alcoholic and effervescent with hints of bubble gum and black pepper corn. Warimono (translation: Peony) is a nod to traditional Japanese fireworks; let Warimono light up your 4th of July!
Marlinspike - Moreish Porter
A delicious roasty robust porter that is so drinkable you can enjoy it even in the heat of a Texas summer. Marlinspike has a rich mouth feel without being heavy and a pleasant bitterness from a combination of English hop varietals and Black Patent malt.
Roggen Noggin - Spring
First released in Spring of 2017. This beer is brewed with Rye and Wheat to create a sweet, malty body cut through by a slight bready spiciness. The nose and finish are characterized by bubble gum and banana notes found in our Hefeweizen yeast strain. So enjoy the brief Texas Spring with a taproom favorite.
Windlass - Fall
Starts as our dry, robust porter, Marlinspike. We load it up from there with 500 pounds of roasted puree sweet potatoes to add a unique thickness and sweet body. Skip the desert, it's too many calories, grab a can.
Our favorite Belgian Tripel with a splash of black cherry that adds sweetness and the perfect cherry finish.
