Take part: Find & share our beer

photo-b

What so proudly we hail.

Honestly, we are a small brewery founded by 2 guys who love good beer.  We get inspiration from traditional German and English styles then add a personal touch.  Brewing is a craft and we are happy tradesmen.

Aggie Owned & Operated

We’re no two-percenters. NRB is run by a core of current and former students (and one slightly befuddled non-Aggie). Leave a penny for Sully on our behalf and enjoy a New Republic beer when you celebrate.

Local & Fresh

Local beer is all about good beer. The best beer you’re ever going to have is right after it comes out of the brewery. When it’s fresh it’s going to taste great.  We are Aggieland’s first microbrewery so come take a tour and get the freshest beer you can.

Dean Brundage

Founder / Unscrambler of Eggs

Dean is the Outside Guy of New Republic Brewing.  Whether working or playing Dean enjoys exercise & sporting, folksy-punk-rockish-bluesy-nerdcore music and mathematics.  Surrounding him is the best wife, loving family & great friends.

John Januskey

Founder / Fixer of broken stuff

John, our Inside Guy, graduated from A&M in ’02 and left for Houston, but has since wandered back.  He likes beer, working with tools, and fixing broken stuff, but not writing about me blurbs.

Adrienne Brundage

Founder / Chief Scientist

Adrienne is working on a PhD in Forensic Entomology at A&M University. That gives her just a little time to enjoy the beer John & Dean make and dream about the day New Republic produces an IPA.

Lisa Januskey

Founder

Lisa graduated from Texas A&M in 2002 then UHCO in 2006.  She opened her own optometric practice in College Station in 2007 and applies her business knowledge to help New Repubic Brewing grow.  She jokes that she has one business that causes double vision and another that will correct it.  Skylight excites Lisa since that is the first style of beer she actually enjoyed.

Make Your Own Beer

Join the TAbc

No, not that awful regulatory agency....  The Texas Aggieland brew club is Aggieland's local homebrew club.  They meet on the third Friday of every month to share beer and brewing tips. Want to learn how to make beer like John & Dean? Membership is free, everyone is welcome.
